10-30-2013 PS--10:25 LATE Start--Fear Case Study Presentation

PLAN
  • Welcome, Attendance, & Daily Plan
  • Case Study Presentation
    • Practice & Preparation--Each class will present 1 case study tomorrow worth 15 points:
      • Creativity--Use props, sound effects, and/or signs to enhance your presentation. Acting should also make the presentation more interesting. (5 Points)
      • True to the Story--Assign as many parts as you can to people. They can be props too. Use signs to make it clear what/who they are. Although you may embellish and enhance your story, the storyline must still remain true to the original case study. (5 Points)
      • Narration/Acting--The narrator should clearly read the case study, stopping when it's appropriate to allow acting. Use energy and feeling when reading the case study. Actors should be true to the character and really make each character stand out.
      • EXTRA CREDIT OPPORTUNITY--After viewing all three case studies, extra credit will be awarded as follows:
        • 5 BONUS POINTS--Best Case Study Presentation
        • 5 BONUS POINTS--2nd Best Case Study Presentation
        • 5 BONUS POINTS--3rd Best Case Study Presentation
    • Roles for putting together your presentation:
      • Directors--These people should assign roles for the case study presentation. In addition, they should coordinate with each of the groups to make sure that each group is productively and effectively doing their job.         • Did you realize that these physical fear reactions were normal?
        • Did you stay and deal with the situation or run from it?
        • Did any previous experience help you get through the fear? If so, what was it?
        • How would your perspective of this fear situation be different now that we've examined fear?
