    • After presenting your speech, put your manuscript in your notebook or folder.
  • Activity #27--10/9/2013--Speech of Recognition & Acceptance Grading Rubric
    • Save this to insert your actual grading rubric after all speeches are complete.
  • Recognition & Acceptance Speech Presentations
    • Activity #28--10/9/2013--Speech of Recognition & Acceptance Chart
      • Create a 3 column Chart:
        • Person's Name
        • Strengths (Write 2)
        • Growth Areas (Write 1)
  • Check Recognition & Acceptance Speech Manuscript Rough Draft
  • Speech of Recognition & Acceptance
      • Review Sign Ups
      • Review Grading Rubric
      • Questions?
      • Partner Exchange
        • Exchange scripts with your partner. Read the script through marking errors and awkward sentences. Make sure all parts of the speech content are present.
        • Polish any part of the script that requires improvement.
      • Partner Practice
        • Practice your speech in front of your partner.
      • Group Practice & Feedback
        • One set of partners will join with another set of partners.
        • One set of partners present their speeches while the other set of partners fill out the grading rubric.
        • Once finished, graders provide feedback.
        • Switch and repeat.
    HOMEWORK (OFFICIAL at 3:10 P.M. Each Day)
    • Study for Special Occasion Speeches Test (Due Thursday)
    • Upload Recognition & Acceptance Speech to TurnItIn (Due Speech Day)
    • PRACTICE YOUR SPEECH in preparation for Formal Presentation. (Due Speech Day)
    • EXTRA CREDIT (2 BONUS POINTS)--Bring a signed note stating that you presented in front of a parent. (Due Speech Day)
