  • Complete Activity--Personal Fear Analysis Journal (Due Wednesday/Thursday)
    • Break down a DIFFERENT fear experience using the elements that we discussed in today's case studies:
      1. What were you actually afraid of?
      2. On a scale of DISQUIET to ALARM, rate your fear level beforehand.
      3. What physical fear reactions did you experience?
      4. Did you realize that these physical fear reactions were normal?
      5. Did you stay and deal with the situation or run from it?
      6. Did any previous experience help you get through the fear? If so, what was it?
      7. How would your perspective of this fear situation be different now that we've examined fear?
    • Activity--Fear Video Clip Example (Due Wednesday/Thursday)
      • Like the Glossophobia Video Clip, find a commercial or brief video clip that deals with the fear of Public Speaking or some sort of speaking situation.
        • Write the website in your notebook and bring it on your digital device.
        • Write a one-sentence summary of the video.
        • Explain how the clip relates to the fear of Public Speaking.
