2-3-2017 PS--Morning Event--Colors Speech & Parent Persuasive Speech Peer Presentations

    • Activity--Parent Persuasive Speech Peer Review
      • Ask each group member to share 2 things you did well and 1 thing that could be improved.
      • After the conversation, write down 2 strengths and 1 growth area for your speech presentation.
  • Colors Speech Peer Presentations
    • Practice with your Speech Group.
      • After presenting, use your rubric from the Colors Speech Assignment Packet to "grade" your speech. (This grade is not recorded.)
  • If time remains, you may do other homework.
    • Plan for Tomorrow

    HOMEWORK (Official at 3:10 P.M.)
    • Complete Parent Persuasive Speech (Due Tuesday, February 14)
    • Upload Colors Speech Outline on TurnItIn through Schoology (Due Friday)
        • Practice Colors Speech in Preparation for Presentations (Due BEFORE Your Speech Day)
        • EXTRA CREDIT (2 BONUS POINTS)--Bring signed note from parent that you presented your speech. (Due on Your Speech Day)
        • Bring hand sanitizer or hand lotion and one of the following items to leave in the classroom for community  consumption: glue sticks, pens, pencils, highlighters, dry erase markers, note cards, hand sanitizer, or hand lotion.
