• BEFORE SPEECH
• What are three things that you think would make an excellent commencement speech?
• DURING SPEECH
• Steve Jobs shares 3 stories. Briefly summarize each story.
• Periodically, Steve Jobs provides some memorable quotes from others and comes up with a few of his own. Record at least 3 memorable quotes.
• AFTER SPEECH
• Steve Jobs told a few stories throughout his commencement address to the Stanford Class of 2007. When thinking back to his stories, what is a personal connection you can make to one of his stories and what will you take away from that connection and/or reflection. Explain.
• Share three comments about Steve Jobs's delivery (i.e. stance, eye contact, voice, use of notes, etc.) during his Stanford Commencement Speech. What did he do well? What could be improved.

• Find at least three quotes that could be effectively used in your speech. Be sure to give credit to whomever wrote or spoke the quote. (Due Thursday)
• Find one or two stories from a well-known person that could be effectively used in your speech. NOTE: You CAN use a story from someone who is not well-known if it truly fits within your speech. (Due Thursday)
